Uppdatera

Hmm...so its been awhile once again. This past week has been rather crazy, in a very very busy way. My Steven came up -- not the weekend that just was, but the one before that. That was wonderful. We did a lot of movie watching and cuddling and such. We went to see The Departed, which turned out to be an awesome movie. I highly recommend it, assuming you're not offended by a lot of graphic violence and swearing. I actually liked DiCaprio in this movie. Very impressive, I know. We bought Scarface and V for Vendetta, and also watched those (V in honor of Guy Fawkes Day :-P). We also had brunch on Sunday morning with Amanda and Mike, confirming the Existance of Steve to someone of my Toledo crowd.

As for school, I've been busy trying to swim through my data and get an abstract written and submitted for the Landscape Ecology conference in April. I got that done, but my data is still giving me some headaches. I'm making some progress at least. I'll get done eventually. Hopefully within the next 6 months. But its keeping me busy.

This last Saturday, Amanda, Sarah, Diana and I spent the day shopping. We had to go to tbe mall for a bit so Diana could do some project for school. But after that, we went to Ikea, which was great, although a bit overwhelming. We were there for an hour and a half and still never made it up stairs. I got a step stool. My friends said I needed one because of the whole chair incident. So I have a nice step stool now. Sunday was spend doing laundry and other such stuff around the apartment. But I did get to actually watch the Steelers game, and they actually won too, so that made me happy.

And I think that pretty much brings us up to date. Today I finally got my windows wrapped with that shrink wrap, so hopefully my room won't be so cold anymore. I really wish I had better windows here. When I have to fight the draft coming in the window to get the stuff up, you know its bad. Stupid shitty windows making me cold.

Anyway, its time to relax and watch some tv or read my new book. And oh...I finished Life of Pi. It has me kind of confused. I don't know which way to think. Anyway....thats all.

By the way...'Upperdata' is Swedish for Update...Swedish...Ikea...see the connection? Nevermind.
